JASON Tindall described Cherries' 2-2 draw with Rotherham as an "ugly game", adding: "I didn't enjoy watching it."

Cherries led at New York Stadium through a Junior Stanislas penalty, only for a Freddie Ladapo brace to turn the game on its head.

But the visitors earned a point thanks to Dominic Solanke's header.

"Obviously disappointed that we haven’t come here and won the game," Tindall told the Daily Echo.
"It’s always a difficult place to come here, with the style of play of Rotherham.

"You’re going to face a lot of long balls, a lot of direct play and you’re going to have to stand up and do all the ugly stuff well and I felt for large parts of the game we did it.

"Off the back of going 2-1 behind, to get ourselves back in the game and have a couple of chances towards the end, take the point, we move on, we dust ourselves down and we look forward now to Tuesday."

He continued: "It was an ugly game, to be honest. I didn’t enjoy watching it because of the style of the game and I felt the referee wasn’t great for both sides today.

"There was no flow to the game. I think the whistle went probably every 10 or 15 seconds. And then a long ball coming in the box and the referee blowing his whistle again. It was very stop-start.

"But we showed great character. To go 2-1 down, great character to get ourselves back in and we’ll take the point."
