CHERRIES striker Joshua King has tested positive for COVID-19.
Having been away on international duty with Norway, King came back to Cherries and initially returned a negative coronavirus test on Tuesday.
However, he then began developing COVID-19 symptoms, and a second test on Thursday revealed he has contracted the virus. He is now set to undergo a 10-day period of isolation.
King is the only member of the Cherries squad to tests positive, but the club are now working to establish if any of King's close contacts will also have to self-isolate as part of government protocols.
Jason Tindall's men are due to host Reading in the Championship in less than 24 hours time, with kick-off at the Vitality Stadium tomorrow at 12.30pm.
King did not feature for Norway this month. Their game with Romania was called off due to coronavirus concerns with a member of the first-team squad testing positive.
That squad was then placed into quarantine before being sent back to their clubs, with a new squad selected to face Austria on Wednesday.
