CHERRIES legend Marc Pugh is on the verge of rejoining Shrewsbury Town, according to Sky Sports.
The 33-year-old had been training with Cherries since pre-season and has also featured for the club’s under-21 squad.
Bacup-born Pugh played for Shrewsbury between 2007 and 2009 before joining Hereford.
He then went on to sign for with Cherries in 2010 and play a vital role in taking the club to the Premier League.
Pugh could link up with former Cherries stalwart Charlie Daniels, who joined League One Shrewsbury on a free last week.
Daniels played 90 minutes in the Shrews 2-1 defeat at home to Rochdale on Saturday.
