BOSS Jason Tindall insisted it would be good to have a “little bit of insight” from Marc Pugh on Queens Park Rangers and added: “It’s going to be a tough game.”

Cherries legend Pugh has been training with the Dorset club after his contract with Mark Warburton’s side was mutually terminated in June.

As part of his R’s contract, the 33-year-old would have triggered a one-year extension if he had made one more appearance for the club.

Bacup-born Pugh remains a free agent but has been working alongside Cherries’ squad since pre-season.

Asked whether he has received Pugh’s insight on facing up against the west London side tomorrow (3pm), Tindall said: “We do our research.

“We know what QPR is about, how they play and what to expect.

“But it is also good to have that little bit of insight if you feel you need to call upon one or two things.

“Marc Pugh is a great lad and will help this football club in any way he can but will he tell us anything different to what we already know about QPR? I’m not so sure.

“But it’s going to be a tough game, they’re a good side, they’re a dangerous side and we’ve just got to make sure we continue the good run of form we’re currently in.”
