JASON Tindall says he is "not expecting it to be too busy" for Cherries on transfer deadline day.

The window for English clubs to do deals closes at 5pm today.

Cherries have made just one signing since relegation from the Premier League, bringing in Spaniard Rodrigo Riquelme on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Asked if he expects much more business before today's cut-off, Tindall said: "I’m not expecting too much if I’m honest. We’re working hard in the background to try and do what we feel we need to do, but it’s only going to be players that are going to make a difference to the current squad that we’ve got. In terms of outgoings, you can never predict anything in transfer windows.

"Something crops up in the last minute that you’re not expecting and circumstances change, but I’m not expecting a busy window sitting here right now first thing this morning."

Cherries have turned down two bids for Joshua King during this transfer window.

Asked if he expects any offers for any more of his players today, including David Brooks who has been linked with a move away, Tindall said: "No I’m not. You can never say never as we know in any transfer window.

"Things come out the woodwork you can’t foresee and you’re not expecting, but we’re certainly not.

"I’m happy with the group of players that I’ve got and the last thing I want to do is lose more of our best players that’s going to have an impact on the remainder of the season.

"We’re not expecting it to be too busy for ourselves."
