WEST Ham are facing competition in their mission to sign Joshua King from Cherries, according to talkSPORT.

The media outlet claims Everton are considering a late move for the 28-year-old striker, who brought up his 50th senior international cap for Norway on Sunday.

King played the final 11 minutes of his country’s 4-0 Nations League home success over Romania.

The Daily Echo understands West Ham have had a £13million offer for King rejected by Cherries, while Italian outfit Torino also had a bid turned down ahead of the international transfer deadline.

Everton are said to be looking to bring in another striking option after allowing Moise Kean to join Paris Saint-Germain on loan.

King signed for Cherries from Blackburn in 2015 and has since gone on to score 50 goals in 171 appearances for the Dorset club in all competitions.

The striker, who was subject to a transfer offer from Manchester United back in January, has just one season remaining on his current deal at Vitality Stadium.

Should King wish to leave Cherries this month, a move must be done before the domestic window closes on Friday.
