FORMER Dolphins Marvin Brooks and Harry Baker came back to haunt Poole Town as they were held to a 2-2 Southern League South draw at Salisbury.

In front of a sell-out crowd at the Ray Mac, the visitors took the lead on just five minutes.

Ben Greenwood’s deflected free-kick was turned in by Dolphins skipper Jamie Whisken, who was the first to react in the box.

Poole striker Tony Lee then made it 2-0 from the penalty spot.

He picked himself up to convert after being brought down by Whites stopper Liam Armstrong – continuing his sequence of scoring in every game this campaign.

But Salisbury boss Steve Claridge looked to the bench and brought on former Dolphins striker Baker, who finished after Antiono Diaz’s free-kick was headed into his path by Brooks.

And it was man Brooks who denied Dolphins all three points with just a minute left on the clock.

He rose highest to head in from a corner and ensure the spoils were shared.
