CHERRIES are still yet to receive an offer for Joshua King in this transfer window, the Daily Echo understands.

A report last night from Sky Sport Italy claimed Serie A club Torino were "in contact" with Cherries over a deal for King.

The club are understood to be willing to let the striker leave, should a suitable bid be received with the Norway international having just one year remaining on his contract.

But no club has yet made official contact with Cherries.

King made his first appearance this season for Cherries on Sunday, coming on as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Norwich City.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move for the 28-year-old this week via a report in the Telegraph.

Cherries turned down a bid of £20million for King from Manchester United in January.

After Friday's game against Coventry City, King is set to join up with the Norway squad for games against Serbia, Romania and Northern Ireland.

Speaking last week, Cherries boss Jason Tindall said: “We have had a conversation two or three times, me and Kingy.

“He’s contracted to the football club, he’s very professional."

The deadline for deals between clubs from different countries closes at 11pm on Monday, with domestic deals allowed up until 5pm on Friday, October 16.
