JASON Tindall believes Arnaut Danjuma's gesture to display a message of support for injured team-mate Lloyd Kelly "shows how tight we are as a group".

After netting what proved to be the only goal as Cherries beat Norwich on Sunday, Danjuma revealed a t-shirt to the cameras reading "Stay strong Lloyd" after defender Kelly picked up a hamstring injury in action at Manchester City on Thursday night.

Kelly is not expected to be missing for long, but was absent for big chunks of last season due to various injuries including ankle and thigh problems.

Since arriving from Bristol City for £13million in the summer of 2019, the England under-21 international has played just 13 competitive games for Cherries.

Asked about Danjuma's message to Kelly, boss Jason Tindall said: "I think it just goes to show how tight we are as a group of players and how much we care for each other.

"Lloydy has had a couple of setbacks with his hamstring and I think that was just a message of support for Lloydy for picking up his latest injury, which is nothing too serious.

"Hopefully we’ll have Lloydy back very soon."

Danjuma took his goals tally for the campaign to two with an impressive piece of skill and finish against the Canaries.

"It was a lovely goal from Arnie," said Tindall.

"Arnie is that type of player that can produce a bit of magic from nothing.

"We’ve seen it a number of times so far this season and I’m delighted that he produced it and ultimately it turned out to be the winning goal."
