MANAGER Jason Tindall insisted Junior Stanislas was “progressing really well” and would be further assessed ahead of Cherries’ Championship battle with Norwich.
The 30-year-old has not featured since the opening-day victory over Blackburn earlier this month after picking up a knock.
But, speaking ahead of Sunday’s battle with the Canaries, boss Tindall said it would not be long before the former West Ham and Burnley man would be back in action.
Asked for an update on Stanislas, the manager told the Daily Echo: “Progressing really well, Junior. Whether he will be involved this weekend, that’s something we will assess.
“But certainly hoping to have him back soon, if this weekend is too soon for him.”
Tindall also revealed he would wait to make a decision on defender Lloyd Kelly after he was replaced with a hamstring problem after 27 minutes of Thursday’s 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City.
“Lloyd will be a late call,” said the Cherries boss.
“He is in with the physios to be assessed. Hopefully it’s not too serious – it didn’t seem too serious after the game.”
