MODEST star Matt Ritchie admitted his peach against Sunderland had topped his list of best goals but insisted: “It’s my job.”

The Scotland international’s stupendous chest down and 25-yard volley from a looping headed clearance created a whirlwind of reaction with pundits lauding it as an early goal-of-the-season contender.

Ritchie's stunning ninth-minute strike, coupled with Callum Wilson's early opener, earned Cherries their first home Premier League win with a 2-0 success against the Black Cats.

“I have seen him score similar goals but haven’t seen him take one on his chest and hit it like that," said boss Eddie Howe of Ritchie's strike.

“He has an outstanding left foot and hits the ball so hard when he strikes it cleanly so it wasn’t a total surprise to see him score one like that."
