BOSS Jason Tindall confirmed striker Joshua King would miss tomorrow’s clash with Blackburn but added: “He will be back with us next week.”

King has reportedly returned to Norway after picking up an injury while on international duty.

The 28-year-old played 19 minutes in his country’s 5-1 victory over Northern Ireland on Monday.

Former Manchester United man King has been linked with a number of top-flight clubs since Cherries were relegated from the Premier League.

Asked about the frontman, Tindall said: “I am in regular contact with Josh. He has been away on international duty with his country – picked up a little knock, so he won’t be involved at the weekend.

“He will be back with us next week.

“To add Kingy to the group is only going to make us better, so looking forward to getting him back and, until such time anyone tells me different, then I am looking forward to having Kingy back with the group.”

King, who has one year left on his contract at Vitality Stadium, remained coy when speaking about his future while on international duty.

He said: “I do not know what will happen in the future.

“I will not comment anymore and try to make headlines. I am in the situation I am in.”
