LIVERPOOL are "eyeing a shock £35million swoop" for Cherries ace David Brooks, according to a report by The Sun.
After a stellar debut season in the top flight, Brooks missed the majority of the 2019-20 campaign due ankle problems, which began during a pre-season win at Brentford in July last year.
He returned to feature in each of Cherries' final nine fixtures after lockdown, scoring his first goal for the club in 15 months in defeat at Manchester City.
The report in The Sun claims Brooks "seems certain" to leave Cherries following relegation after showing his quality with eight Premier League goals and five assists in 2018-19, having moved to the south coast from Sheffield United for an initial £10million.
Wales international Brooks, 23, penned a new long-term contract at Cherries in March 2019.
