BOURNEMOUTH cruiserweight Chris Billam-Smith emphatically defended his commonwealth title after flooring Nathan Thorley three times at Matchroom Fight Camp.
Opening week two of the event in Essex, Billam-Smith settled well and had Thorley down at the end of the opening round.
Good work on the inside saw the Welshman hit the floor and counted by the referee.
And the power of Billam-Smith had him down again quickly in the second.
Thorley briefly rallied with some powerful shots – but a sublime right hand counter punch sent the Cardiff man to the canvas once again with the contest quickly stopped.
