JASON Tindall remains the odds-on favourite with bookmakers to become Cherries’ next permanent manager.
The 42-year-old, rated at 2-7 with SkyBet, is currently in caretaker charge of the side following Eddie Howe’s departure by mutual consent on Saturday.
Former Middlesbrough, Birmingham and Swansea boss Garry Monk is a 3-1 chance with the same bookmaker, while John Terry (8-1) and Chris Hughton (10-1) round off the top four in the betting.
The Daily Echo understands chief executive Neill Blake, technical director Richard Hughes and club owner Maxim Demin are working together to select the right candidate to replace Howe and have an idea of who they would like to speak to regarding the vacancy.
With less than two weeks until players return for pre-season on August 17, Cherries are looking to make an appointment sooner rather than later, but won't be rushed into appointing the wrong candidate.
