DAN Gosling insisted Cherries remained “united” in the dressing room and said: “We’re all fully behind the gaffer.”
The midfield star netted the club’s only goal since the resumption of the Premier League campaign, with a consolation effort in Wednesday’s 4-1 defeat to Newcastle.
And with Cherries in the bottom three with six games remaining, Gosling admitted it was time for the squad to “repay the faith” shown in them by Howe.
He said: “Yes, it’s been tough throughout the season. But we’re all fully behind the gaffer. We believe in what he says, how he sets us up.
“The dressing room is good. We’re not bickering, blaming and pointing the finger. We’re united in there and we need that more than ever.
“We need the spirit that we’ve had from my first year here all the way through.
“We’ve had players coming and going but we’ve still got a strong core that have been with the gaffer a long time, and we’re fully behind him.
“I know he believes in every single one of the players here and it’s up to us to repay the faith that he has in us by staying in the league.”
