CHERRIES defender Nathan Ake believes fellow dutchman Arnaut Danjuma is the fastest player in Eddie Howe’s squad.
The winger, who had been ruled out of action since December due to a foot injury, has been back in training with the Dorset club during the first phase of Project Restart.
Asked in a fans’ Q&A on Soccer Bible who was the fastest player at Cherries, centre-back Ake replied: “There’s many. I’m going to say Danjuma – my Dutch guy.”
Ake has featured in both of Danjuma’s senior international caps for the Netherlands.
“It’s great to be around the national team now. We’ve got such a good group, a lot of top players and young players as well,” added the former Chelsea man.
“The group itself is very close, we bond a lot so that’s very good. Being able to play for the national team is great.”
