CHERRIES winger Arnaut Danjuma lifted the lid on what it was like to train during phase one of the Premier League’s project restart.

Eddie Howe’s men came back to the training ground this week after top-flight clubs voted to return to work in small groups.

Danjuma, who is now fit after a foot injury, told talkSPORT: “To be honest it has been a bit weird. Twice a week, we’ve had the coronavirus test, which is horrible. The testing is horrible.

“They put something deep in your throat and something deep in your nose like they are almost tickling your brain.

“I’ll go to the training. I have 15 minutes of preparation. Once you’ve come out of the training you go into the gym with a small amount of persons, so a small group.

“Afterwards you will go straight outside with social distancing as well.

“There are little containers where you put your GPS trackers and stuff like that because you’ve been sweating in them.

“You go back into the gym with social distancing as well. Then you just go straight in your car and that’s it. You will eat lunch, shower and do the rest at home.”
