CHERRIES have confirmed they will not return to training next week after the Premier League season was suspended indefinitely amid the coronavirus outbreak.
League chiefs met yesterday to discuss the future of the 2019-20 campaign, with the top flight confirming football “will only return when it is safe and appropriate to do so”.
Eddie Howe’s men, who are currently undergoing their own fitness work at home, had initially been set to return to training on Monday, April 6.
But staying in line with the with yesterday’s announcement, the Dorset club have also suspended their return to training indefinitely.
The decision also falls in line with the UK government directive for people to stay at home and help the NHS save lives amid COVID-19.
