CHERRIES star David Brooks revealed he had taken to Disney films and Premier League Years in a bid to cure the boredom of football’s lockdown.

The Wales international, who has been unable to train with his team-mates amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, decided to sign up to the Disney + streaming service in an attempt to pass the time.

And the 22-year-old admitted High School Musical and the Marvel films were on the agenda for him to view while football is halted.

Speaking about being unable to take to the field, Brooks told talkSPORT’s Gameday podcast: “I think it’s the same for all of us. We are all just cooped up in the house probably kicking a little football around.

“I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t just downloaded that Disney TV, to be honest.

“The boredom has really kicked in, Netflix has got a bit dry, so I think I’ll have to catch up on High School Musical or some of the Marvel movies.

“The other day I had a full day of just watching Premier League Years and just going through them.

“I have been trying to get my football fix but it’s hard to get involved when you know the score before it’s even started!”
