ON THIS DAY – MARCH 26, 2011
STEVE Fletcher felt referee Mark Haywood had been culpable as promotion-chasing Cherries were robbed of a potentially priceless victory against Charlton.
After falling behind to a Scott Wagstaff strike, goals from Marc Pugh and Danny Hollands turned the tables before Bradley Wright-Phillips earned a 2-2 draw.
And Fletcher was left frustrated that a challenge by Christian Dailly on Jayden Stockley in the build-up was not given.
Fletcher told the Daily Echo: “I have watched the DVD and Dailly committed a blatant foul on Jayden. Jayden cushioned the ball on his chest and he came through him with two hands and a knee in his back."
The draw left Cherries sixth in League One.
