CHERRIES are one of the clubs "tracking" defender Alfie Kilgour, according to the Bristol Post.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign for the Gas this season, playing more than 40 games in all competitions, including 33 in League One, where he has scored two goals.

Gas academy product Kilgour spent last season on loan at Maidenhead United, but has returned to play a key role for Bristol Rovers, who sit 14th in the third tier.

The report claims Cherries and Southampton have both "sent scouts to watch" Bath-born Kilgour, while Millwall and Queens Park Rangers are also said to be "keeping tabs" on the centre-back.
