LUKE Stone scored twice as Christchurch booked their spot in the semi-finals of the Wessex League Cup.

Lucas Morrain and Nick Swann were also on target for Priory, who swept aside neighbours Poppies 4-0 at Hurn Bridge.

Victory sets up a showdown with AFC Stoneham in the last four for the right to meet either Portland United or Hamble in the final.

Also taking a break from league action, Bashley exited the Southampton Senior Cup with a 3-0 loss at Blackfield & Langley.

The Southern League South side led as early as the fourth minute and had the game wrapped up shortly after half-time thanks to Pat Suraci's hat-trick.

Blackfield will face either Bush Hill or AFC Totton in the final.

In Wessex Premier, Lymington Town fell to a 4-1 home defeat against Fleet Town.

Just three days on from stunning title-chasing AFC Stoneham, Lymo were locked 1-1 at the break with Fleet after Marcus Cullen cancelled out a Durrell Brown strike.

But second-half efforts from Billy Oram, Aaron Redford and Malachi Thomas sealed the win for the visitors.

Brockenhurst ended a six-match winless run in the league with a 3-0 success against Hamble.

Without victory since early January in Wessex Premier, Brock led at half-time after Will Tickle netted directly from a corner. And they added to their tally after the break through Ben Kemplen and a Mitchell Speechley-Price header.

In Wessex One, Verwood Town grabbed a share of the spoils with rock-bottom Folland Sports.

Folland looked to have snatched a priceless win thanks to Matthew Burt's strike nine minutes from time, but Verwood equalised via an own goal at the death to draw 1-1.
