JAMES Stokoe turned into his own net to hand struggling Dorchester a 1-0 victory over Wimborne at The Avenue.
Player-coach Stokoe, making a rare start for Danny Holmes's Magpies, side-footed past young goalkeeper Cameron Plain in just the second minute against Southern League South's bottom side.
In a game lacking in quality throughout, Stefan Penny, Luke Burbidge and Curtis Young came closest to a reply for the visitors, but found stopper Shane Murphy in their way, while Plain also impressed at the other end to keep the game alive.
Dorchester remain bottom despite a first league win since October, while Wimborne sit 15th.
Magpies: Plain, Greenwood, Byrne, Bertrand, Poole, Pettefer (Smith, 90), Diaz, Penny (Bayston, 56), Burbidge, Young, Stokoe (Shepherd, 62).
