DEFENDER Tyler Cordner was sent off as Cherries’ unbeaten record in the Premier League Cup came to an end at Stoke City.
Centre-back Cordner was given his marching orders on 64 minutes for a bringing down Abdul Sankoh as the last man at Clayton Wood.
The Potters had already netted the winner when Andre Godfrinne popped up to seal a 1-0 success eight minutes after half-time.
Cherries, who won four of their six games in Group E, had already qualified for the knockout stages with 13 points.
Shaun Cooper’s side will wait to find out their opposition in the next round.
