GOALKEEPER Asmir Begovic came off the bench to make his AC Milan debut against Fiorentina.

The Bosnian, on loan from Cherries, replaced Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 52nd minute of the Serie A clash at Fiorentina.

And he helped his side to a 1-1 draw, but was unable to prevent Erick Pulgar scoring from the penalty spot, despite getting a hand to the shot.

Taking to Instagram, Begovic said: "Honoured to have made my debut for this great club."

The 32-year-old is on loan at San Siro until the end of the season.

Elsewhere, fellow loanee Harry Arter helped Fulham to a 1-1 draw against Derby County in the Championship.

Aleksandar Mitrovic netted for the Cottagers, cancelling out a Wayne Rooney penalty.

Nnamdi Ofoborh featured for Wycombe Wanderers in their 3-1 win over Tranmere Rovers to keep their League One promotion bid on track, while in Scotland, Matt Butcher helped St Johnstone to a 2-2 draw with Rangers.

  • Cherries under-21s are back in action tomorrow night, travelling to face Moneyfields in the Hampshire Senior Cup semi-finals (7.45pm).
