CHERRIES were stung by two VAR decisions as they went down 3-0 at Burnley this afternoon.
The visitors looked to have taken the lead midway through the first half at Turf Moor when Joshua King turned in from close range following an Andrew Surman corner.
However, the goal was chalked off for handball after Philip Billing was judged to have used his arm to knock the ball to King in the build-up.
Cherries also had a goal ruled out in the second half when Harry Wilson's effort was disallowed with play brought back for a handball by Adam Smith in his own penalty area. Jay Rodriguez slammed in the resulting spot-kick.
The decisions have both caused plenty of debate, in particular the one in the first half. Should King's goal have stood?
