PIRATES legend Chris Holder is set to return to Poole to ride in Neil Middleditch's testimonial.

Aussie Holder, a five-time league winner with Pirates, scored 3,069 points from 1,340 rides for the club.

And the 2012 world champion is the latest name to be confirmed for the event for Poole team boss Middleditch, which is due to take place at Wimborne Road on Wednesday, March 25 (7.30pm).

He will be joined by brother and the club's number one last season in Jack Holder with Bjarne Pedersen, Nicolai Klindt, Brady Kurtz and Adam Ellis also confirmed among the line-up for the testimonial meeting.

Pirates are looking to honour Middleditch’s work since being appointed team boss by owner Matt Ford in 1999. He has guided the club to eight top-flight titles.

He is set to share management duties with Gary Havelock for the 2020 SGB Championship season.
