DANNY Holmes has called on his Wimborne side to "roll our sleeves up" as they look to push away from the Southern League South relegation zone.

Magpies currently sit 17th in the 22-team table following their disappointing 2-0 home reverse against Hendon on Saturday.

But Holmes is confident he can steer Wimborne clear of danger, starting with a trip to 20th-placed Walton Casuals on Saturday (3pm), a side three points below them.

"I do believe we'll push up the table," boss Holmes told Radio Wimborne.

"They (Walton Casuals) are a decent side. There will be a lot of pass and move the ball on their pitch.

"I've got a gameplan, I'll obviously keep that in house but we'll have a good week's training.

"They will be tough opponents, but we've got to be right on our game.

"We'll go there, be professional, same mentality as we did at Beaconsfield and Harrow and start to do what we can do and believe in what we can do and just get back on the front foot.

"We need to roll our sleeves up and see what our mentality is like."

Eighth-placed Poole Town are also due in action, hosting title-chasing Swindon Supermarine (3pm).
