MANAGER Eddie Howe insisted there had been “absolutely nothing to tell” on potential January incomings but insisted the club were still “actively looking”.

Cherries have been linked with a number of options throughout the window.

The Daily Echo understands there is interest Borussia Dortmund winger Jacob Bruun Larsen as well as Lyon forward Bertrand Traoré.

Tottenham full-back Danny Rose is the latest name to be linked with the Dorset club.

The Daily Echo understands Cherries are interested in a potential loan deal for the England international.

Speaking about possible January recruitment ahead of Monday’s FA Cup fourth-round home clash with Arsenal (8pm), Howe said: “Absolutely nothing to tell you on any incomings I’m afraid.

“I have said all along throughout January we are actively looking, but so far it’s been a very difficult window to find players that are available – of sufficient quality to make our squad better.

“But that doesn’t mean we won’t stop looking until the window closes."

He added: “We are looking at different positions.

“If we think we can find someone we think can make the difference to the team then we will look to do it. If everything matches up in terms of finances, availability, and a player wants to come.

“But if there is no player that becomes available, we will very much go with what we’ve got.

“I think we showed again against Brighton (a 3-1 win on Tuesday) that we are good enough - when we play well – to win games and stay in the Premier League.”
