THREE Championship clubs are keen to take Jack Simpson on loan for the rest of the season, according to Sky Sports.

Centre-back Simpson, 23, has featured six times for Cherries in all competitions this season and was an unused substitute for last night's victory over Brighton.

And the report claims Middlesbrough, Derby County and Stoke City are all keen on the defender, but are "waiting to find out" whether or not he will be allowed to leave Vitality Stadium, with a decision due "later this week".

The academy graduate is one of four centre-backs at the club and although Chris Mepham is ruled out with a knee injury, both Simon Francis and Lloyd Kelly can fill in the role.
