EDDIE Howe confirmed neither Joshua King nor Jack Stacey will return from their respective hamstring injuries in time for Cherries' trip to Norwich City tomorrow (3pm).
In a battle of the league's bottom two, Cherries remain without a host of first-team players due to various knocks, but Nathan Ake did come through last Sunday's defeat to Watford with no fresh problems.
Both King and Stacey last featured in defeat at Brighton on December 28, but failed to complete the fixture due to their hamstring complaints.
"Josh King and Jack Stacey won’t make the game," said Howe.
"Nathan (Ake) came through the (Watford) game okay and has trained well this week, so no problems with him.
"Even with everybody fit at this level, there’s no guarantee you’ll win games, but it does become harder with each player you lose.
"The flip side of that is I look at the team I picked against Watford and I felt it was a very strong team.
"I back the team I pick against Norwich to be a very strong team that is good enough to win the game. That’s why I can’t look at it and go, there’s excuses there.
"The responsibility is on me and the team to win games."
