EDDIE Howe revealed how Aaron Ramsdale was left watching Cherries from the stands against Watford after a “bizarre” training ground injury.
The goalkeeper was left nursing a minor hamstring problem after catching a ball in training on Saturday.
Ramsdale, 21, was videoed leading chants from the North stand during the 3-0 defeat to the Hornets, in which Mark Travers deputised.
Asked for an update on the England under-21 keeper, Howe told the Daily Echo: “It was bizarre.
“He went to catch a ball in training and just felt something.
“I don’t think it’s serious. I think it’s very minor but it was enough to see him miss yesterday. It was a big blow for us.”
The boss also revealed Junior Stanislas would be out for "a couple of weeks" with a calf problem.
