CHERRIES keeper Asmir Begovic is understood to be set to join AC Milan on loan.
The Bosnian has today been pictured in Italy ahead of the move, which the Daily Echo understands is until the end of the season.
Milan stopper Pepe Reina is on Monday expected to join Aston Villa, meaning the Italian giants are keen to find a replacement.
Begovic this week briefly returned to training with Cherries following a short-term loan at Qarabag.
He featured 17 times for the Azerbaijani outfit in all competitions, including five appearances in the Europa League.
Asked on Friday whether he was expecting Begovic to stay with his squad for the rest of the season, boss Eddie Howe replied: “On Asmir, I don’t know.
“I think that’s a situation where things may change but, at the moment, he is part of our group and he’s training very well.”
Begovic last featured for Cherries in April, a 3-1 Premier League home defeat to Burnley.
He joined the Dorset club from Chelsea for £10million in 2017.
