HAMWORTHY United emphatically dispatched Solent University 8-1 to record their seventh Wessex Premier victory of the campaign.

Goals from Dan Cann, Fawzi Saadi and Lee Francis put Tim Sills’s side 3-0 up at the interval, before Solent’s Ethan Taylor pulled a goal back after the break.

But Hammers then put their foot on their gas and struck five more times.

Cameron Munn was on target and James King bagged a brace. Elliot Hartnell-Baker also scored before former Wimborne midfielder Francis added his second.

Victory put Hammers on to 25 points from 19 league games this season.
