TOTTENHAM boss Jose Mourinho insisted it was “not easy” to play against Cherries ahead of this afternoon’s showdown in north London.

Mourinho, who last week replaced Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, has guided Spurs to back-to-back victories since taking over.

They sealed a 3-2 success at West Ham before a 4-2 midweek Champions’ League home win against Olympiakos.

A three-time Premier League winner, Portuguese boss Mourinho has managed against Cherries on six occasions, winning four and losing just once.

Asked about the Dorset club ahead of the contest, the 56-year-old said: "First of all, they are not afraid of us.

“That's the way they approach matches, that's why they get results against the top teams.

“It's not easy to play against them. They have quality, good tactical organisation, some good quality players.

“It's not easy to play them."
