TOM Pepper was too hot for Bournemouth Electric to handle as he scored all four goals in Queens Park Athletic’s impressive 4-0 victory over the Sparkies in Hayward Saturday Premier Division.

Park had suffered two successive league defeats after their ace marksman picked up an injury, but his return helped his side up to second place in the table on goal difference.

The only other game in the division saw Milford run out 4-2 winners over Bransgore United thanks to Josh Barton-Coup, Jamie Rickard and a couple of goals from Matt Vining. Harry Smith struck twice for Bransgore.

100 per cent Bisterne United are four points adrift of Division One leaders Verwood All Stars Development with two games in hand after their 6-0 triumph over Fordingbridge Turks thanks to Charlie King’s hat-trick and further goals from Charlie Heggan (2) and Jack Gibbs.

Elsewhere, last season’s MA Hart Hayward Cup finalists New Milton Eagles are through to the semi-finals of this season’s competition after Ben Haffenden, Justin Keeler and Jon Spooner gave them the verdict 3-2 in their third round tie with Verwood All Stars Development. Yusuf Akanni scored both Verwood goals.

Eagles will meet Bisterne United in the semi-final.

Ed Sherwood scored all three goals when Ringwood United upended Talbot Rise 3-1 in the other third round tie with Talbot replying through Brandon Mackinlay. Ringwood’s opponents in the semi-final will be the winners of the third round tie between Bournemouth Electric reserves and Fordingbridge Turks.

Electric shaded it 2-1 in their first round tie with AFC Burton thanks to goals from Paul Blenman and Matty Ings. Mitchell Cannings was the Burton scorer.

All other games were called off due to waterlogged pitches.
