JOSHUA King has reportedly picked up an injury whilst on international duty with Norway.

The Cherries striker put his country ahead in a Euro 2020 qualifier against Malta last night after seven minutes, but the game was level at the break.

Norway went on to win 2-1 thanks to an Alexander Sorloth effort, with King missing a second-half penalty in Ta' Qali.

But King did not last the full game, withdrawn in the 89th minute in place of Fredrik Ulvestad.

In quotes translated from Norwegian outlet TV2, King described as "a little sore" his hamstring, adding that he will need to get assessed upon his return to Cherries this week.

Norway, who could not seal automatic qualification for the European Championship regardless of their result against Malta, finished third in Group F behind Spain and Sweden.
