BOURNEMOUTH cruiserweight Chris Billam-Smith’s upcoming showdown with Craig Glover will be for the vacant Commonwealth title.

The pair are set to go head-to-head for the belt in Liverpool on Saturday, November 23.

Former Poole ABC star Billam-Smith is looking to bounce back having lost his unbeaten professional record after a controversial points defeat to Richard Riakporhe back in July.

The Commonwealth belt has recently been relinquished by newly crowned European champion Lawrence Okolie, a stablemate of Billam-Smith’s in coach Shane McGuigan’s camp.

Glover’s professional record stands at 10 wins and two defeats.
