NATHAN Ake described as “very dangerous” Newcastle United’s latest number nine in Brazilian star Joelinton.
The powerful frontman was brought to St James’ Park for a considerable £40million from Hoffenheim in the summer.
Joelinton, 23, opened his account for the Tyneside club when he netted the winner at Tottenham back in August.
Asked about the former Brazil under-17 international, who he could tomorrow come up against (3pm), Ake told the Daily Echo: “So far he has been a threat.
“He is very dangerous, tall and strong. It will be a challenge but we will prepare for that.”
Ake has been ever-present for Eddie Howe’s men in the premier League this season and has helped Cherries to three consecutive clean sheets.
The Dutchman has played six times against the Magpies, winning on three occasions.
He added: “It’s a very big game, I think it’s going to be tough.
“It’s a tough place to go but to be able to get a positive result there just before the international break will be huge.
“Lately they have been doing really well.
“They are tough to break down and they bought a big striker. They are a tough team. We have to make sure we are on our game.”
