MAX Wilcock bagged a brace as Christchurch hit Solent University for six in Wessex Premier.

Wilcock's double plus strikes from James King and Ben Satterley cancelled out John Wallace's goal to put Priory 4-1 up at half-time.

And two further goals followed after the restart courtesy of Kyle Graham and Luke Stone to fire Christchurch up into second.

Lymington Town slipped to 13th after their 2-1 defeat at Bashley.

The scores were level at the break after goals from Harry Morgan and Dom Falco, but Lewis Ross's late goal earned Bashley victory which lifts them into eighth place.

Mid-table Hamworthy United sit 12th after coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Portland United thanks to a Connor Cocklin strike.

In Division One, New Milton Town suffered a first league defeat in three, going down 4-1 at Romsey Town.

Jack Cooper netted for New Milton, but braces from Liam Magee and Matthew Page earned victory for the hosts.

Away from the league, Brockenhurst cruised into the third round of the Southampton Senior Cup with a 4-0 win over Durley.

Leon Carbayo-Borges and Mitchell Speechley-Price put Brock 2-0 ahead at half-time with Gerson Ramos and Freddie Bullard sealing the win after the restart.
