HAMWORTHY United twice came from behind to win 3-2 in an enthralling encounter with Brockenhurst in Wessex Premier.
Badgers twice led via Will Tickle and Ronan Moore, but Hammers rallied back via an own goal, a debut strike for Fawzi Saadi and an Eddie Hodge winner.
Poppies slumped to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Lymington, with Luke Churchill, Nathan Hurst and Adam Costello all got on the score sheet.
Christchurch were the biggest hitters, defeating Amesbury 4-0 away from home. Luke Stone, Max Wilcock, Kyle Graham and Ben Satterley all grabbed a goal apiece.
Bashley were fruitless on their travels to Portland, only managing a goal in an eventual 2-1 defeat. Harry McGrath pulled one back after the hosts went 2-0 up.
Victory for both Priory and Hammers sees them cut the gap on the top of the table, with both sides perched on 17 points.
Similarly, Bashley and Lymington both occupy mid-table berths on 14 points apiece, whilst Brockenhurst sit higher up the table in 3rd, on 19 points.
Lower down the table Poppies share the lowest points total with two other sides, but sit in 18th due to goal difference.
In Wessex Division One Charlie Gajic grabbed a consolation goal for Verwood in their 2-1 defeat to Pewsey Vale.
Elsewhere in the division New Milton saw their clash with Andover postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Defeat for the Potters sees them remain in 14th place, whilst New Milton languish in 18th.
