ARNAUT Danjuma insists he "definitely" feels ready to make his first Cherries start since his £13.7m summer move from Club Brugge.

Danjuma’s start to life at Cherries was hampered after picking up a foot injury in pre-season against Lyon, limiting him to just three appearances off the bench.

However, the Dutch winger now has 90 minutes under his belt after a behind-closed-doors training game during the international break, with the 22 year-old chomping at the bit to grab a first start of the season.

He told the Daily Echo: “I feel ready. I definitely feel ready. But then again, I’m not the manager! I’m doing my best in training, and I’ll see what the manager thinks about it."

Discussing tomorrow's home clash with Norwich (3pm) followed by a trip to rock-bottom Watford, Danjuma said: “I think, against Norwich, at home especially, I think we have a decent chance of winning. So, we should do everything to take the three points.

“I am confident we will put in a good performance – we have good staff, a good team. Especially the home game against Norwich, I think that's one we should get some points in.

“I think against Norwich and Watford as well, if you want to get some points, you need to get points against those teams."
