BRANSGORE star Scott Mitchell has not been included in the BDO’s selection for this year’s Grand Slam of Darts.
The former Lakeside world champion is not set to feature at the event in Wolverhampton, which begins on November 9.
‘Scotty Dog’ had played in each of the past four Slams, the only tournament on the calendar where members from both of darts' main codes, the PDC and BDO, go head-to-head.
Women's Lakeside world champion Mikuru Suzuki and world number one Lisa Ashton will both compete at the event this year.
Lakeside men's world champion Glen Durrant switched to the PDC after his third BDO world title in a row and features at the event for the fourth successive year.
Gerwyn Price defends his title having clinched his first PDC major last year by beating Gary Anderson in the final.
