DORSET star Georgia Hall put herself in contention after an impressive opening round at the Buik LPGA Shanghai in China.
The 23-year-old carded a one-under-par round of 71 to begin her campaign. She sits four strokes off the lead after day one.
Wimborne’s Hall, who has sealed top-10 finishes in her past two events, totalled four birdies and three bogeys during her opening 18 holes at Qizhong Garden Golf Club.
