POOLE-BORN Hayley Davis has booked her place on the Ladies’ European Tour for 2020 after securing the LET Access Series order of merit crown.

Despite finishing in a tie for 50th at the La Largue Ladies Championship, Davis already had an unassailable lead at the top of the overall standings ahead of Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen and Italy’s Lucrezia Colombotto Rozzo.

The top five players on the Access Series progress on to the main tour for 2020.

A post on Davis’s Instagram account said: “Ladies European Tour here I come.

“Can definitely say so far 2019 has been the best golfing year for me yet!

“Big thanks LET Access for a great year. It has been so nice to have so many events to play in and have the chance to meet so many great people and visit new places.

“Big thanks to my friends and family for always supporting me, couldn’t do it without all of you.”

The 26-year-old enjoyed a stellar season, which included winning the Bossey Ladies Championship in France and qualifying for her first major championship at the Women’s US Open.
