DANNY Holmes intends to rotate his Wimborne Town side for tomorrow's Southern League Cup first round clash against Dorchester Town at Cuthbury (7.45pm).
Holmes, who guided his Magpies up to ninth in Southern League South table with a last-gasp victory over Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, will look to continue his side's progress in the cup having defeated Poole Town in the previous round.
And he admits he will use the contest to field a changed line-up.
Holmes told Radio Wimborne: "The four or five lads who have not been playing will automatically come into the side, a little bit of rotation.
"Hopefully we might get a couple of development boys in. I've got a big squad now.
"Everyone needs game time. Last year we went quite far in the League Cup and it gave us a chance to look at players.
"The longer we stay in it for me, the longer I get seven or eight players to look at and they get time and minutes."
Dorchester boss Callum Brooks told Dorset Echo: "It's a game we're looking forward to. We've not got the squad where we can make wholesale changes.
"Where we will look to change it is just with the injuries we've been carrying."
