HAMWORTHY United are seeking a new manager following the resignation of Alan Lay.

The former Swanage and Verwood boss took charge of the Hammers in March, but has today left his post.

His final game as boss came on Saturday, where Hamworthy suffered a 5-0 defeat at Alresford Town in Wessex Premier.

In the same league, Poppies' winless league run extended to four matches after a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of AFC Portchester.

Leo Cabeleira’s side have now slipped to 14th with Karol Rog’s goal mere consolation.
