ABBEY moved up to second place in Division One of the Hayward Sunday League after Max Wilcock and a couple of goals from Sam Lanahan sealed 3-1 win against East Christchurch SSC.

Jamie Trimble’s goal proved consolation for East Christchurch.

Jim Crossin bagged a hat-trick in Alderney Manor’s 6-1 triumph over AFC Stourvale with Sam Thompson, Scott Arnold and Nathaniel Merrett adding one each.

Daniel Chan scored the Stourvale goal.

Dean Norman’s hat-trick proved decisive when Bournemouth Sports Mercury just got the better of Bearwood Broncos 4-3 in Division Two to go second in the table.

Tayo Francis was the other Mercury marksman with Ash Williams, Rhys Simpson and Josh Carter replying for the Broncos.

Vienna Suttoners reserves took over on top of Division Three after their 4-0 victory over Rushmere through John Bastable, Jesse Hodgson, Djamel Meddah and an own goal.

Matt Lock struck twice in Iford Park Rangers’ 4-2 win over Poole Borough Rovers. Lee Rimmer and Karl Sibbald were the other Iford scorers with Adam Frohlich and Callum Neate replying for Rovers.

Alex Eaton nabbed a hat-trick when Loch & Quay reserves maintained their three-point lead at the top of Division Four with a 4-1 success against Kirkfield United.

Joe Kimber scored the other goal for the league leaders with Danny Mirto replying for Kirkfield.

Zbigniew Wieczorek. Matt Chapman-Burnett and Jim Miles gave nearest rivals Scott V the edge 3-2 against Alderney Manor reserves, who replied through Jamie O’Hara and Henry Hodge.

Jamie Copper tucked away a hat-trick in Upton Sociedad’s 6-1 tonking of Poole Borough Rovers reserves with Ben Lees (2) and Jack Kingham also on target. Nick Collins scored the Rovers consolation goal.

Rich Witherington and Charlie Ryan netted for Grange Athletic but Boscombe Celtic had the upper hand 4-2 thanks to Dan Hallworth, Wayne Smith and a couple of goals from Alex Rossi.

Harvey Boothby and Kamil Kwiatkowski both bagged hat-tricks in Forest United’s 7-3 hammering of Home Style in Division Five with Liam Smith getting the other goal.

Home Style replied through Lee Burton and a couple of goals from Jack Lockyer.

David Payne, Kyle Joyce and Kane Mitchell netted for Parkstone Athletic but JP Morgan reserves shaded it 4-3 thanks to Joe Taylor, Lloyd Wallen, Lewis Ross and Daniel Hunter.

Lukas Brown struck for Siemens but Boscombe Celtic reserves were 5-1 winners thanks to Connor Picken’s hat-trick and a couple of goals from James Morris.

Lee Tabor, Joe Robinson and Cameron Doe netted for Grange Athletic reserves but West Howe reserves maintained their perfect record in Division Six.

Ryan Cole, Zak Cole, Mark Brock and Troy Light gave them the verdict 4-3.

Reece Matthews, Neil McCormack, Jake Morgan, Paul Sarge and Anthony Williams were the Boscombe Celtic A marksmen in their 5-2 win over Academy, who replied through Jonathan Brown and Josh Burridge.

Longfleet were 3-2 winners against Siemens reserves thanks to James Horvath and a couple of goals from Tom Smart. John Armour and Sean Dennis were the Siemens scorers.
