CHRIS Harris has been drafted in as a guest for King’s Lynn ahead of their SGB Premiership trip to Pirates tonight (7.30pm).

The Great Britain star comes in for injured Michael Palm Toft, while the Stars will run rider replacement for Thomas Jorgensen, who was injured riding for Newcastle at Sheffield last night.

Pirates chief Matt Ford told the club website: “It’s always great seeing Bomber back at Wimborne Road.

“He was outstanding for us in 2018 and I know the fans love seeing him charge around our track.

“Having him back here will certainly add to the excitement of what is already a huge meeting for us in terms of our desire to finish top of the Premiership table.

“I think Chris always has a point to prove when he races against Poole and I’m sure tonight will be no different, so our task will be to keep him quiet if we’re to keep that goal firmly on track.”

And there is also another change to the King's Lynn lineup with Chad Wirtzfeld replacing Robert Newman, who has missed his flight so will not make it to Poole in time for the meeting.
